BLE MIDI Motion Instrument

BLE MIDI:

Developed a Bluetooth low-energy motion controller that translates motion into music, using a battery-operated ESP32 enclosed with an IMU in a mountable housing. The device is intended to increase music accessibility by lowering physical barriers to music that traditional instruments may impose.

CanAssist Sponsorship:

Designed our motion controller to be device-agnostic, meaning it can integrate with any BLE-enabled device, including the CanAssist SAMI accessible music device. The SAMI device is used in BC primary education to offer children accessible alternatives to traditional instruments
